Managing Your Subscription
All subscription management happens in your Gilito AI dashboard under Settings > Plan. Only users with the super-admin or account-admin role can manage billing and subscription settings. If you are a standard user, ask your workspace admin to make changes.
Viewing Your Current Plan
To see which plan your workspace is currently on, navigate to Settings > Plan in your Gilito AI dashboard. This page displays:
- Your current plan name (Free, Pro, Advanced, or Enterprise)
- Your billing cycle (monthly or annual) and the next billing date
- Current usage for each feature (watchlist assets, portfolios, agents, markets, seats) compared to your plan limits
- A quick overview of what you would gain by upgrading to the next tier
Upgrading Your Plan
Upgrading gives you immediate access to higher limits and additional features. To upgrade:
- Go to Settings > Plan in your dashboard.
- Click on the plan you want to upgrade to.
- Choose your billing cycle (monthly or annual). Annual billing saves you 2 months free.
- Confirm your payment details and complete the upgrade.
Downgrading Your Plan
If you need fewer features or want to reduce costs, you can downgrade your plan. To downgrade:
- Go to Settings > Plan in your dashboard.
- Select the lower-tier plan you want to switch to.
- Review the differences in limits and confirm.
Before downgrading, we recommend reviewing your current usage in Settings > Plan. If you are using more agents, portfolios, or watchlist assets than the target plan allows, consider removing some before the switch to avoid restrictions.
Canceling Your Subscription
You can cancel your paid subscription at any time. To cancel:
- Go to Settings > Plan in your dashboard.
- Click Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the page.
- Confirm the cancellation. You may be asked to provide a brief reason (optional).
After canceling, you retain full access to your paid plan until the end of your current billing period. Once the billing period ends, your workspace automatically reverts to the Free plan. Your data is preserved — nothing is deleted — but you will be subject to Free plan limits.
Updating Your Payment Method
To update your credit card or payment method:
- Go to Settings > Billing in your dashboard.
- Click Update Payment Method.
- Enter your new card details in the secure payment form. Gilito AI uses Stripe for payment processing — your card details are never stored on our servers.
- Click Save to confirm the update.
If a payment fails due to an expired or declined card, you will receive an email notification. Stripe automatically retries failed payments over the following days. If the payment continues to fail, your subscription may be paused until a valid payment method is provided.
Viewing Billing History and Invoices
To access your billing history and download invoices:
- Go to Settings > Billing in your dashboard.
- Scroll down to the Billing History section.
- You will see a list of all past invoices with the date, amount, and status (paid, pending, or failed).
- Click Download Invoice next to any entry to get a PDF invoice for your records or accounting.
Invoices include your workspace name, plan details, billing period, and payment amount. If you need to update the billing name or address displayed on invoices, you can do so in Settings > Billing > Billing Details.
